Sunday Dances

We will be having Sunday Dances in Mystic at the German Club on the following Dates:

December 9, 16, 23, 30
January 6, 13, 20, 27
February 3, 10, 17, 24

Sunday Dances are RECORD HOPS and have a free mini lesson from 7:00pm to 7:30 NO PARTNER NECESSARY OPEN DANCING from 7:30 to 10:00pm.

COST OF ADMISSION:	MEMBERS, SENIORS, MILITARY AND STUDENTS	$5.00
	NON-MEMBERS	$6.00

Upcoming Classes:
Lindy Hop: Intermediate and Up with Wil Reed

So what do you do now that you know how to do a swing out and lindy circle? You come and take this class! Add to your repertoire of Lindy Hop moves and continue perfecting the fundamentals!

Classes will begin on November 25 and continue on until the end of 2007 with the final class on December 30. A six week series!!!

Another Upcoming Class! - West Coast Lessons with Blake Hobby

A rare opportunity for anyone who loves West Coast or is just starting out! Instead a single workshop, Blake Hobby will be teaching in one location for four weeks!! Blake Hobby is a two time US Open Champion whose teaching style is clear, direct, easy and focuses on technique and execution for the beginner to the experienced competitor. Recently she taught at Boogie By The Bay, Gotham Swing, and Swingin’ New England.

Basics and Beyond: 4 - 5 pm*
Level: Open to all levels 
Pre-requisite: none 
Cost: $80 for Members, $100 for Non-Members
This class is for people wanting to learn West Coast Swing for the first time, dancers who would like to learn the reverse roll, dancers who want a more in depth view of the building blocks of  WCS. This course must be taken as a series as each class will build on the material learned during the previous one.

Dance Studies:  5- 6:15 pm*
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Pre-requisite: Six and Eight count basic or registration in Basics and Beyond
Packages: $80 for Members, $100 for Non-Members
Cost Per Class: $25 for Members, $30 for Non-Members

Each class will be a mini-intensive focused on a different aspect of West Coast Swing:

January 6: Perfect Lead/ Perfect Follow: Discover the more intricate aspects of partnership and connection.
January 13: Anchor Variations: Learn ten anchor variations to add interest and texture to your dance.
January 20: Spins and Turns: Learn to spin and turn with more confidence, ease, and grace.
January 27: Accents and Musicality: Learn to accent music with out disturbing lead or follow.
